DTC Cleaner 2.0 for trucks is a diagnostic device that has the functionality of clearing DTC memory (data trouble codes), memory of errors related to the SCR system and eliminating limp mode (power and speed limit).

 

DTC Cleaner 2.0 for Mercedes-Benz MP4 (Euro 5 and Euro 6) and MP5 (Euro 6) trucks is the next and improved generation of our DTC Cleaner. It differs from its predecessor and all other DTC Cleaners on the market in that it has the function of removing the error memory related to the SCR system, which until now was reserved only for original service computers with the Mercedes logo and very expensive, multibrand diagnostic testers. This device was created at the request of the most demanding customers and truck workshops and is now available to everyone.

The exhaust gas treatment system (ACM) in Mercedes-Benz trucks occasionally generates errors, such as that the NOx sensors are not working correctly. These errors are stored in the ACM controller and the MCM engine controller. Standard erasing of errors in ACM and MCM controllers is in some situations insufficient, then the error memory related to the SCR system should be reset. Otherwise, when the errors in the engine control unit have been removed but the SCR fault memory reset procedure has not been performed, the following information may still be displayed:

  • warning of reduced engine power (limp mode);

  • warning of 15 mph / 20 kph speed limit;

  • check engine warning;

  • SCR, AdBlue warning.

Our device - DTC Cleaner 2.0 - is the only one on the market that fully removes standard errors in all systems as well as resets memory errors related to the SCR system in ACM and MCM controllers using procedures that are used in authorized services.

 

 

Device functionality:

We can develop a DTC cleaner for models that are not listed + you can update software in the future to extend functionality of the device by increasing the number of supported vehicles.

 

User manual, that is easy to follow:

1. Turn on the ignition.

2. Plug the device into a diagnostic socket.

3. DTC cleaner will start to remove errors (blue LED flashing).

4. The device will indicate that operation is complete with a green LED.

5. Switch off the ignition and pull out the device.

* In case any malfunction or error is detected during the process, the LED will light up red to indicate that the process has been aborted, thus indicating that the errors have not been cleared.
